Joomla 1.5.1 and 1.0.14 Was Released

Just a few weeks after the official release of Joomla 1.5, a few days ago the Joomla core team announced a new patch for Joomla 1.5.x and Joomla 1.0.x branch. There are several security issues and bug fixed in these release, so it is very recommended that you upgrade your Joomla powered site to using the latest version available.

Joomla 1.5.1 Issues Fixed

• Fixed major security issues in the XML-RPC Blogger API plugin
• Fixed UTF-8 database detection
• Fixed SEF (Search Engine Friendly) issue and several more issues have also been fixed

Joomla 1.0.14 Issues Fixed

• Fixed XSS issue inside the search component
• Fixed CSRF issue that allowed portal compromise in the administrator components
• Fixed administrator logout
• Fixed several core APIs and several more issues have also been fixed
