Wine 1.0.0 RC2 Release Date

The second Release Candidate (RC) for Wine 1.0.0 will be sceduled to be release on May 23rd, 2008. As until May 16th there are still 27 bugs reported and still not yet fixed. Wine developer said that most of those bugs will be fixed on the later release, which means after Wine 1.0.0 RC3 and so son.

Mean while, right now Wine is in code free status, preparing for the 1.0 release.

FYI, Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows API on top of X, OpenGL, and Unix. Wine enables you to run Windows applications on Linux platform
