Joomla, if you’re a big fan of open source CMS I’m sure you often heard that name. Joomla is (I think) the most popular open source CMS right now. With thousands of supporters on the official forum, and thousands of 3rd party add-ons making Joomla has the biggest open source CMS community in the world.

And some people realize that this could be a great market to sell something. That’s why now we see so many sites offers what we call Joomla Template Club service.

How Joomla Template Club Works

Every member who have registered to the site (with certain fees) can download all of the Joomla templates available on that site for free until their membership expires.

The owner of the template club has the obligation to release one or two new Joomla template to the site each month. That means if you registered for 1 year membership, you’ll receive at least 12 templates + all of the previous templates released before you registered.

Each template club usually has a demo page to show-off all of their templates to visitors.That would be a good place to see if their templates fits your need and style.
Check out their support forum and see how the site owner handles the supports and complains from their members.
Find-out reviews on that template club on Google. Just enter “template-club-name reviews” as the keyword and sometimes you’ll find some interesting fact about that template club.
