The IE history cleaner will hang if you run out of memory / resources. Corrupted files also can cause this symptom. Just restart your computer and do the cleaning again and you be fine. I had all my files back uped from the Laptop and were loaded on the New System. Here is my problem; I installed all the new updates along with IE 7, today I deleted the temp browsing file, that went fine, but when I hit the delete historu button the window opend up and started to delete the files; problem is it never stopped.
