It’s not easy to choose the best webcam for your need, yet it’s not too hard either. Here are some tips that might be useful for you before choosing a webcam.
- The first think you have to consider before buying is your budget. Don’t go over budget and adjust with your needs.
- Choose webcam with good resolutions & frame rate. Most webcams will have either 320×240 or 640×480, and webcam with 30 frame rate per second is a good one. I’ll go for 640×80 if I have an extra budget.
- Glass lense is better than plastic.Glass lense will give you clearer images.
- I love extra features. Buy a webcam will lots of extra features such pan, tilt, and also manual focus.
- Notice the webcam cable connection. Most webcams sold today uses USB interface, so please do check your PC for USB port. If you don’t have a USB port, you have to buy webcam with Parallel or Serial port.
- How old is you PC? Older PC’s usually don’t support webcams. Check the minimum requirement and match it with you PC before choosing a webcam.
