Check Windows Vista Activation Status

Did you know that you can check whether your Windows Vista has been activated or not via the command line?

All you have to do is:

  1. Click the Start button and type "cmd" (without quotes) in the search box and then hit Enter on your keyboard
  2. You'll now see the command line window, in the command line type:
    slmgr.vbs -dli

    and hit hit Enter on your keyboard

  3. A new window will pop-up and it will display your Windows Vista License Activation Status
