Make Windows Vista Sidebar Always on Top of Other Windows

Tags:

By default, Windows Vista sidebar will only appear when all opened windows are minimized or when you view the desktop. In other word, if you open IE7 then you cannot see the Windows Vista sidebar, because it is underneath the IE7 window.

We can make Windows Vista sidebar to always appear, even when all of your window are maximized. To make it happen, follow these simple steps:

Windows Vista Sidebar

  • Click on "Start" button, then click on "Control Panel".
  • Choose "Sidebar Properties" icon.
  • Then, activate the "Keep the sidebar on top of other Windows"
  • Don't forget to hit the "Apply" button.
