openSuse 11.0 RC1: Getting Closer to Stable Release

Good news for openSuse users, the openSuse Project today announce the release of openSuse 11.0 RC1. There are about 578 bugs were fixed, and 1,118 bugs resolved! FYI, is one of Linux distribution and it is sponsored by Novell and AMD.
Wine 1.0 RC3 Was Released
A few days after RC2 was released, today Wine release another update, Wine 1.0 RC3. Wine is an open source implementation of the Windows API on top of X, OpenGL, and Unix. Wine enables you to run Windows applications on Linux platform.

Fedora 9 (Sulphur) Alpha Was Released

Linux Fedora 9 (Sulphur) Alpha is finally released. It is the first alpha release of Fedora 9 with codenamed Sulphur. An alpha release is similar to what Debian calls testing. An alpha release represents a sanitized snapshot of Fedora's development branch, which sees rapid changes and it will become the next major release. Fedora 9 is available in variety of "spins" of custom boot images for everything from desktop installs to USB devices with improved networking and eyecandy .
