What? You accidentally delete the “Show Desktop” icon in your Windows task bar? The “Show Desktop” icon will help Windows user to minimized all open window application.
Don’t worry, you can restore your “Show Desktop” icon back. Ok, here we go.
- Open your Notepad, and then type the following code:
[Shell]Command=2IconFile=explorer.exe,3[Taskbar]Command=ToggleDesktop
- Save the file as ShowDesktop.scf in C:\Windows. The ShowDesktop file icon will change like your regular “Show Desktop” icon.
- Drag the icon to your QuickLaunch in your Windows taskbar.
That’s it, you finally get your icon back.
