Facebook recently launched a new feature called Facebook Connect, it enables Facebook users to share their Facebook identity, friends and privacy to any websites they wanted. According to Facebook, this features will enable any websites to implement and offer more features of Facebook Platform.

Adding Facebook Connect to your or site is a bit tricky, but if you’re using WordPress, Movable Type, Drupal, VBulletin forum or MediaWiki you can add this feature easily because those CMS have a plugin/module to help add Facebook Connect in just a few steps. Read more…

New Version of FriendMobilizer is Available

I just got tipped by Andrey Lu from FaceofMobile via email. He said that FaceofMobile proudly release the newest version of FriendMobilizer.

FaceofMobile is mobile application on Pocket PC or Smart phone that will enables you to stay connected to Facebook where ever you go.

FYI, I have use FriendMobilizer from quite some time now and I think it’s a pretty handy to keep me stay connected and get updates anytime I received a new message on Facebook.

FriendMobilizer is a Facebook application for Windows Mobile 6.0 developed by FaceofMobile that will help you keep up-to-date with what’s going on under your Facebook account. I had the chance to installed it yesterday on my O2 Atom Life and the installation process took a couple minutes but it was all worth it.

Before you can download and use this windows mobile application, you have to register your phone number to FaceofMobile site and follow the all the steps until you’re given the link to download the application.

With FriendMobilizer you can set and clear your Facebook status and wall easily, check your inbox or see what’s going on with your Facebook friends and many more.

Several features on this application relies on Internet Explorer Mobile such as to check your inbox, profile and several other stuffs. It would be nice if we can all do this without having to open up other application such as Internet Explorer (not sure if this possibe though). Read more…

Facebook stated clearly on the developer site that they are just as hectic as their users who complaining about the massive use of Facebook apps in the user profiles.

Because of many users complaining about this “abuse”, Facebook will soon launched a tool that will allow users to move or hide all but their favorite apps to what they called “extended profile” section. Read more…
