Microsoft has announced Windows Vista SP1 RC Refresh 2. But sadly, this release would only available to 15.000 official beta testers, these beta testers can download the new Service Pack from Windows Update or download it directly from Microsoft site.
Some people said that we can do a little trick that will allow us (no beta testers) to download and install Windows Vista SP1 Refresh 2 through Windows Update. We can do this simply hack Vista registry.

There is an easy way to disable Windows Vista UAC (User Account Control), it will only take seconds.
Click on the Start menu and click on the Control Panel
From the Control Panel search box, type and search for “disable uac” (without quotes)
Click on the “Turn on User Account Control (UAC) to make your computer more secure”, then uncheck “Use User Account Control (UAC) to help protect your computer”
If you’re done just click on the OK button, reboot you’re computer when prompted.
Some important files for Windows Vista are hidden by default. This is to prevent those file from being touched or accidentally deleted, these files are super hidden files.

Windows Vista start up sound sometimes a bit annoying. If you’ve decided that you don’t want to hear that annoying sound again..ever, here’s how to do it.
Click the Start button and then type “sound” (without quotes) in the search box.
You’ll see a list from the search result, choose “Change system sounds”, the Sound window dialog boz will then pop-up
Uncheck “Play Windows Startup sound” option
Don’t forget to click OK if your finished
From now on you won’t hear Windows Vista start up sound.
