WYSIWYGNow: The Smallest Drupal WYSIWYG Editor

I'm happy to announce that one of my friend (Wendy) in Drupal-ID have developed a new WIYSIWYG editor for Drupal. This WIYSIWYG editor is much smaller than TinyMCE or fckEditor.

Wendy claimed beside being smaller from other WIYSIWYG editor, this module could be the first WIYSIWYG editor specially designed for Drupal CMS.

I haven't got a chance to really try and use it, but this is a great news for me, I'm so proud that one of Drupal-ID member -Indonesian Drupal Community- has made a great contribution to the Drupal community (Wendy is one of the founder of Drupal-ID).

Here are some of the feature of WYSIWYGNow

1. Very small and fast, total uncompressed files only 135 KB.
2. Slick interface.
3. Support Customize buttons set.
4. Enable/Disable editor per content_type.
5. Enable/Disable editor per textarea id.
6. Enable/disable editor for blocks.
7. Support Drupal "break tag" to make teaser.
8. Every users has their own folder: files/u1, files/u2, etc. (5.x-1.0)
9. Enable/Disable File Upload. (5.x-1.0)
10. Enable/Disable File Delete. (5.x-1.0)
11. File restriction based on: extension, size, width, and height. (5.x-1.0)
12. File quota (5.x-1.0)
13. Create thumbnail. Option: Proportional. (5.x-1.0)

To use this module, just download WIYSIWYGNow first. Upload it to sites/all/modules/ directory, activate the module from administer -> Site building -> Modules menu. And then set all the configurations in administer -> Site configuration -> WIYSIWYGNow.

Wendy haven't got a chance to upload it to drupal.org because his CVS account was blocked for some reasons.
